Uranus Retrograde

Uranus Retrograde from August 19-January 18, 2022.

Uranus has now joined all of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto) in retrograde. 

Uranus is the planet of change, innovation, surprise, shock, shakings of foundations, liberation, freedom, and consciousness. 

Collectively we’re being asked to change. 

Retrogrades spin the energy of a planet inward, so we’re being asked to evaluate our relationship to change.

Retrogrades are a time for us to REview, REstructure, REevaluate, REset, REassess, and REvisit.

Humans often find change uncomfortable, but remember that breakdowns lead to breakthroughs. 

Uranus is in Taurus, fixed earth. If there’s ever a sign that is resistant to change, it’s Taurus. 

Taurus likes what’s tangible, feasible, grounded, concrete, sturdy, and secure. It’s rooted in the Earth. 

Ruled by Venus, Taurus is concerned with what we own and what we value, including ourselves.  

We are being asked to change our values, change our money (hello crypto), change our foundations, change the way we make money, and change our roots. 

If we can’t be open to change, then can we at least consider why? Is there fear attached to that resistance? 

Uranus is here to liberate you and bring you to higher levels of consciousness. 

It’s a time to recreate your visions around what you value, what you own, what you earn, and what makes you stable and secure. 

How can you liberate yourself from the structures you’ve built? What are you being called to change? How you can you step more into your self-worth? 

These are all questions that will surface over the next five months of this retrograde.
