The Energy of Need and Owning Your Desires

Let’s discuss the energy of Need.

The energy of need comes from safety and security. 

Need implies that something is essential for our basic survival. 

It is necessary, obligated, and required. 

In astrology, the Moon represents our basic needs. 

It is the energy we embody when we are born because we are born needy and not able to take care of ourselves.

We are reliant on our parents, caretakers, or others. 

It is what we need to feel safe, seen, and secure.

But often, we embody the energy of need when it is not inherent to our actual well being. 

The energy of need implies that we are lacking something.

For example, I need more money. 

I need to start working out. 

I need to have sex.

I need to eat. 

Etc, etc, etc. 

All of those statements imply that we don’t already have what we need. 

But what if we flipped those statements because we know all of our needs are met. 

I make more money.

I am going to start working out. 

I love to have sex.

I am making some food to eat. 

This energy just FEELS better. 

So this Full Moon, can you own your needs?

Aries is unabashed and unapologetic about owning its needs and desires. 

So we can shift that our inherent needs are always a given and shift out of lack into embodiment?

Aries says I is a full sentence. 

Aries Moon says I own my needs and everything is provided for. 

I am safe.

I am secure.

I am seen.
